Introducing the revamped Dolcevita collection: new washbasins, new modularity options, new finishes.

Dolcevita, Ideagroup’s iconic collection distinguished by the fluted design of its cabinet fronts, has expanded its modularity options and standard range of finishes with a view to providing even more combination possibilities. This post will present all the new features of this collection, which is perfectly representative of Ideagroup style.

Let’s start with wood finishes: Sbiancato, Visone, Fumo and Mattone have been added to the existing Moro and Naturale finishes, for a total of six Rovere finishes that add warmth and elegance to any bathroom furnishing suite. A further new feature is the option of a glossy lacquered finish for all base units in the collection: colours are bright and luminous, to further enhance the expressive potential of the Dolcevita collection.

Some of the finishes available in the Dolcevita collection, including the new glossy lacquered finish, are shown above. From left to right: Rovere Visone, Noce Moscata matt lacquer, Rovere Sbiancato, Porpora glossy lacquer, Rovere Mattone.

In addition to the new colours and finishes for fronts and carcases, there is also a novelty concerning marble tops, whose 2 cm thick edge is also available with a double groove that is both a stylish detail (perfectly coordinated with the fluted design of the Dolcevita collection) and a practical raised no-drip edge.

The surface of the washbasins also boasts a fluted design: the range has been expanded to include the Giove freestanding models, which are made of Cristalplant and are available lacquered on the outside only, or both outside and inside, in all colours of the Ideagroup palette. The same shape, but without a fluted design, characterises the Saturno washbasins, which are perfect for those who prefer a more streamlined style to go with the three-dimensional volumes of the collection.

A new functional detail is the towel rail designed to be fitted to the side of base cabinets. It is available in any of the finishes of the collection, in all lacquered colours of the Ideagroup palette and in Metal Colours. Practical and elegant, it blends in with the colours of the room, adding character discreetly.

New drawers and modules with glass sides

There’s a further new feature that reveals Ideagroup’s painstaking care for details and is only apparent when opening the drawers: new anthracite drawer sides in 8mm thick solid steel add stability to the drawer during opening and closing movements. They are also available in smoked glass to match the open cabinets.

Yet another new feature in the Dolcevita collection is the new suspended cabinet with smoked glass fronts with a Bronzo finish frame and built-in handle. Tall and wall units of varying depths and heights can be combined to create original, dynamic combinations that are perfectly aligned in terms of style.
